Dr. Carlos Raimundo
Supervision and the Play of Life
";
As a Play of Life practitioner, you learn a clear progression in practice from Thing to Object to Instrument. This progression helps you name what you are doing, what you notice in session, and what to develop next.
;
From training to practiced skill
";
Training aims to bring you to the Object level, where you can describe and apply the concepts with clarity. From there, repeated practice helps the work become Instrument, where you can use it reliably in real sessions.
;
Why supervision matters most
";
Supervision is the most recognised, practical, and consistent route for professional development in the Play of Life. It turns theory into action through feedback, reflection, and accountability, so your skills grow session by session.

Individual supervision
In one-to-one supervision, you bring a real case, a stuck moment, or a question about your work. We slow down, reflect, and name what is happening in you, in the client, and in the relationship.
Supervision is provided by Dr Carlos Raimundo. To start, email a short note with your role, your setting, and what you want to focus on. We will agree aims, frequency, and boundaries before the first meeting.
Peer supervision, organic learning
No hierarchy, shared inquiry
Bring real cases and questions, then think them through with peers as equals. You get honest feedback, multiple viewpoints, and a learning space where everyone contributes and everyone grows.
Learn with and through peers
Peer supervision helps you test ideas, notice blind spots, and practice new ways of working. The group becomes a live learning lab that supports skill-building between sessions.
Build lasting relationships
You meet practitioners who care about thoughtful work. Over time, these connections can turn into steady accountability, trusted referral networks, and ongoing practice partnerships.
Collaboration that continues
Many peer groups keep meeting after the first session. You may find collaborators for co-facilitation, shared projects, or a repeat peer supervision rhythm that supports your work long-term.
