Change has been happening at unprecedented speed. Yuval Harari, Israeli historian and public
intellectual, predicts the rise of Homo Deus. He anticipates we’re one of the last generations of Homo
sapiens and that in a century or two or three, we’ll be replaced by a different kind of beings or entities.
They will be more different from Homo sapiens, Neanderthals, or chimpanzees. Moreover, we can see
the signs of this revolution all around us

. Harari is not a prophet but has an interesting view of history
and the future. Change has been affecting every area of life, including climate change. Nonetheless, my
focus is now on the effect on the life of institutions.
